The Authority supports Oranim faculty in pursuing their scholarship and publishing their research, as part of a continuum of personal-professional advancement. It also conducts research on educational issues for other institutions and educational frameworks. It was established in order to promote academic advancement and to conduct ongoing research in a range of disciplines, including the humanities, social sciences, and education. The Authority functions as a cooperative, run by a core group of scholars and aided by other researchers. The Authority includes the Research Committee, the Conference Committee, the Teachers’ Evaluation Committee, research and support staff, and administrative staff.
