Students with special needs often are highly intelligent, but a neurological condition makes learning in conventional ways difficult for them. The mission of the Keshet Center (keshet is the Hebrew word for rainbow) is to empower these students. A team of special education experts, language therapists, physical therapists, and others help diagnose and treat disabilities. They work with students individually, teaching strategies and skills that help them to improve their executive functions, such as organizing, prioritizing, and planning. Hundreds of students receive services each year in short and long-term programs.  This support enables them to maximize their potential within months of beginning to receive services.
