Teaching Certification

Teaching Certification 2024-05-06T11:56:25+00:00

In the course of their academic studies, students take courses in education and pursue fieldwork. During their fourth year at Oranim, students take on an off-site paid teaching apprenticeship for 6-12 hours a week for a semester. Concurrently, they participate in a weekly workshop during which they receive feedback from veteran teachers. After successful completion of these requirements, they are granted a teaching certificate by the Ministry of Education within a specific area, such as special education, early childhood education, elementary school, secondary school, or informal (extracurricular) education. The teaching certificate is granted in addition to the bachelor’s degree they receive from Oranim College in a specific field of study in education, the humanities, social sciences, the arts, or science.
