The Rector’s Office oversees the center, which aims to promote pedagogical excellence in the college. The center offers the faculty opportunities for pedagogical support and development, enabling the faculty to model what it means to be life-long learners. The center enhances students’ studies and supports their work as teachers by striving to provide the optimal learning experience.
In order to achieve this goal, the center:
- Facilitates workshops, meetings, and lectures on various pedagogical issues by lecturers from Oranim and visiting lecturers, with the goal of improving faculty’s pedagogical skills and increasing their competence in teaching academic disciplines.
- Offers individual counseling to lecturers who would like to improve their quality of teaching and/or are seeking support in addressing pedagogical challenges that they have encountered in their work.
- Provides individual or group counseling following the recommendation of members of the college administration.
