The Klein Center, established by Lucile and Joe Klein, is a research and teaching facility for faculty and students, with state-of- the art scientific equipment for researching the environment, using sophisticated molecular tools. The center's teaching faculty pursues their own research in a range of areas. They also mentor graduate students to become skilled and expert in their fields and work with undergraduate students - future science teachers - to help them become familiar with the equipment and gain hands-on lab experience.
