The Central Board of Jewish Welfare in Germany (ZWST)
The Central Welfare Board of Jews in Germany (ZWST) represents Jewish regional organizations and Jewish communities. It constitutes the central organization for the network of Jewish welfare in Germany as well as a provider of informal educational services. ZWST’s mission is to provide a comprehensive and effective organization of Jewish non-statutory welfare work in Germany. It is responsible for safeguarding general and specific Jewish interests through legislative and administrative procedures within the range of social welfare services. The contribution of the ZWST to the integration of immigrants is effected by basic research in the form of information, practical assistance, and basic and advanced training opportunities.
Columbia/Barnard Hillel, The Kraft Center for Jewish Student Life
Columbia/Barnard Hillel is the catalyst for students to explore and consciously define their Jewish identity. The center helps students, regardless of their origin or destination, find their own interpretation of Jewish values, culture, community, and religion by empowering them to explore, learn, and grow intellectually, spiritually, and socially. Columbia/Barnard Hillel creates experiences and communities focused on social, cultural, and educational programs, social action, Israel, and religious life. The center draws upon the rigorous and intellectually-exciting environment of Columbia University and New York City.
UJA Federation of New York
UJA Federation of NY brings together donors, agencies, synagogues, dedicated volunteers, and experienced professionals. UJA-Federation of NY cares for people in need, inspires a passion for Jewish life and learning, and strengthens communities in NY, in Israel, and around the world. The goal of UJA-Federation is to impart the Jewish values that inform the various activities and to improve access to quality Jewish education. By connecting Jews around the world to one another, building unity, and fostering a sense of collective responsibility, UJA-Federation reinvigorates the institutions that help shape Jewish life.
The Jewish Agency for Israel
The Jewish Agency for Israel has been working to secure a vibrant Jewish future, and it serves as the official link between the Jewish state and Jewish communities everywhere. This global partnership addresses the greatest challenges of Jewish Peoplehood in every generation. The Jewish Agency connects the global Jewish family, brings Jews to Israel, and Israel to Jews. By building a better society in Israel – and beyond – and by energizing young Israelis and their worldwide peers to rediscover a collective sense of Jewish purpose, the Jewish Agency continues to be the Jewish world’s first responder, prepared to rescue and bring Jews home to Israel from countries where they are at-risk.
Partnership2Gether, the Jewish Agency Peoplehood Platform
The Jewish Agency’s Partnership2Gether platform has become the paradigm for successfully partnering global Jewish communities directly with Israeli communities—the majority of which are in areas defined as a national priority. The global platform connects some 550 communities around the world in 45 partnerships, building living bridges among these communities. Sharing ideas, strengths, challenges, and models of success, P2G empowers both involved communities to generate waves of change. P2G partnerships provides the opportunity for communities to connect and interpersonal relationships to flourish.
